Who we are. Guy in Lapland (Mr Lapland) organizes guided Arctic tours. This policy covers our website (guyinlapland.com) and our trip-management application (app.guyinlapland.com). Contact: guy@guyinlapland.com.
What we collect and why. When you book a trip with us, we collect the information needed to operate it: your name and contact details, passport details when we book flights on your behalf, dietary and equipment information you provide for the trip, and records of payments. We collect this directly from you (registration forms, email, messages) and use it only to organize and run your trip and to meet our legal obligations (such as accounting rules).
Sign-in. Our application uses Google sign-in for our staff and, in the future, for customers. We receive only your name, email address and profile picture from Google — nothing else from your Google account. Cookies are used solely to keep you signed in; we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Where your data lives. Customer files are stored on EU-jurisdiction infrastructure. We do not sell or share your information with anyone except the service providers needed to run the trip (for example, airlines when booking your flights, and our payment processor when you pay).
Your rights. Under EU data-protection law (GDPR) you may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we have no legal duty to keep it. Write to guy@guyinlapland.com and we will respond.
